What a novel idea!! A CAT FRIENDLY GARDEN!! Keep those curious kitties
away from your prize petunias or your delightful daisys!! Plant a Cat Garden! Include a Cat litter box and the
cats won't pay your garden a bit of attention.
Below are several plants that should catch kitties interest:
Catnip and lots of it.
Cat mint-though not preferred over catnip - catmint is a nice change
and very colorful and easy to grow.
Valerian (a tall plant but smells VERY nice
A nice little patch of grass to lay on in a sunny location
Cat Grass to munch on
An old log to scratch on or to climb on
Bowl of fresh water to drink
If you have the room a litter box made from wood with a removeable screen
on the inside to easily "lift out" the waste matter.
